My other half has an 'L Reg' 1.4ies which cuts out intermittently. Just comes to a stop as if the ignition had been switched off.
Also the Radio cuts out If you operate the windows or Hasard lights.
I reckon that it could be the ignition switch; but I read on another forum that wires short out inside fiat distributors.
I'll check these things out probably next week and let you know what I find - as this appears to be a common problem with all Fiat motors.

I've spoken to a couple of Auto electrician pals of mine and they reckon the looms on fiats are crap.

Does anyone have any experience with Uno's - Her car has a sunroof, apparently the Tipo has problems with the drain pipes making water drip on the fusebox. Is the UNO the same?[?]

My k reg 1.0 Uno did that when I had.

I changed numerous parts on the car and still no luck, the parts changed where:
Lamda Sensor (twice)
Ignition Switch
Automatic Choke

There was a problem with the throttle body which the mechanic thought it might off been, but I never got round to fixing it cause I wrote the car off
