Hi,
I have obtained a set of fog lights for my mkII uno. Now I just wanna fit them. I dont have the holes cut out in my bumper. First step is that I have to make the holes. Do I need anything else to make the fog lights fit?All I have is the unit! Is there something else like some sort of mountings which i need to fit to the bumper? Mine is a standard bumper not a turbo one.

you would surely need mountings, have a look to see they have them
i was thinking of getting fogs for mine lol but i decided to opt out of that and instead focus on stuff i needed.
Could always just swap your bumper for turbo one off eBay or summat.

Are you sure you didn't get the brackets as they are usualy complete! On your standard bumper are there impressions outlining marks where the spots fit i'm sure its so! if so remove the excess plastic and trial fit shouldnt be too hard do they look like this Ant! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....Track=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:middle:uk

Hmmm. I don't think this is as easy as you think.

The Uno bumpers came in a couple of variety's those with foglamp holes, and the right screw holes for mounting. (Uno SX/Uno Turbo), and those with what looks like a foglamp blank, (the lower range Uno's).

Now, even though it looks like a blank where the foglamp goes, I'm pretty sure it's not just a case of cutting the blank out, and fitting a foglamp. And really you need an Uno SX/Uno T front bumper, with the holes already to take a foglamps.

There's probably a way round this, but the foglamp holder (a plastic box attached to the back of the bumper), is attached to specifically raised screw mount points, which I don't think are there on the lower range bumpers.

Might work out easier, (and cheaper in the end) to find a second hand SX/Uno T front bumper.

yes antsuno, the foggies I got are like in the pic. I do have the blanks in the bumpers but I dont know what there is behind them. I'll take a pic and post it here so that you can see what I have.

have a look underneath and line them up to see if there are mounts inline with the fogs?

The fog lights on my Turbo are mounted into a 'box' that's part of the bumper and doesn't seem to appear on bumpers that have the blank space only. You'll probably have to work something out with strips of perforated metal and screws...

...or spend about 30 EUR for a brand new Mk2 SX aftermarket bumper with all fixtures ready.
