I have been having problems trying to get one of my third row seats back into position and now it is jammed on one side at the rear. See pictures. Does anybody know if there is some other means of releasing it from underneath? The round wheel on one side has dropped into the runner and I think it is in the totally wrong position.

Seat released by a local garage, not sure how they did it but it is out. Unfortunately while I was trying to release it myself the crappy plastic mechanism underneath has broken meaning the seat cannot be moved backwards or forwards when on it's runners. It's the second seat that has suffered this problem. last time I got it repaired partly under warranty. Apparently the whole mechanism costs £180.00. So beware of being too forceful when using the bar under the front of the seat or pulling the Red tag behind the seat as the mechanism appears to be very fragile.

Glad to read that you have got the seat freed off, but what a luxury.....seats that move backwards and forwards. Our 1996 Uylsse seats stay in one position, so as long as you are a midget ( sorry for not being P.C to any vertically challenged small people out there ), you are ok, otherwise its squash up time. One day...maybe....we will have a car with moving seats!

Two positions, surely, if you take the seat out and re-fit it (slightly forwards or backwards) in the other set of mounting slots? :D

And the seats recline ... ;)

That would be nice, but only the driver and front passenger seats recline, the other 5 just fold down or back up.....basics. Still, the plus side is its one less thing for the kids to play with and break:rolleyes:

With the new Ulysse, I have had problems with the seats jamming, if you fold the seat but hold the base in position (to make a table) you can not then release the seat. You need to put it back into its normal position then fold it and tilt it forward at the same time to be able to remove it. It is also possible to jam it in the tilted forward position so it wont latch back down. I have found that operating the mechanism and folding the seats a couple of times seems to release them.
