Does anyone know what the small round cover next to the Sat Nav Screen is for? Like so many others, my Screen is not lit at night and I thought there might be a bulb behind the small round cover. I removed it to find nothing behind. Am I right in thinking that mine is the type that needs the whole display replacing? If so does anyone know how to remove it?
It's the cover for the Infra Red sensor for connecting phones for data transfer etc.
The LCD screens normally has a special backlight tube which I think should be available as a spare part. Have a look at www.eurovan2.com, I think I have read about people who have had to replace theirs.
