I have a 2.0 JTD 16V Prestigio - 2003 new model with all th trimmings.
Recently it has been refusing to start in the mornings when temperature has been cold - usually below 3 or 4 degrees. Otherwise it starts fine.
It turns over fine, but won't fire up. No fault codes whatsoever.
I have had an auto electrician check the electrics - he says nothing wrong there, glowplugs working fine. Fuel is getting through OK when fuel pipe disconnected at engine, so nothing wrong with fuel pump. Injectors have been checked and flushed through - again no problems found. It has not actually failed to start since having the injectors done, but has come close, i.e on a couple of mornings has turned over many times before kicking in, so I am convinced there is still a fault - it just hasn't been cold enough yet.
One thing, when it has had trouble starting recently, I get some weird errors come up on the on board computer when it eventually starts, usually 'air bag faulty' or 'passenger air bag disabled'. Coincidence or linked?
Basically, no fault codes, electrics fine, fuel arriving, injectors fine - any suggestions?
