Hi,

Has anybody tried the new RT3 software from the Eurovan site. Apparently the software if mainly to solve bugs on the Citroen C5, but you never know it might fix some bugs on the Ulysse.

Andy

If you're referring to the 5.40B version, I though the guidance was to hold off because it was unclear whether it was OK to use on the EuroVan2, so I'm happy to leave it like that.

I'll probably look at the 5.41 software when it becomes available though!

Hi,

That's what I thought, but you never know it may solve some bugs on the Ulysse. Mine still bleeps randomly and I am sure it is a s/ware bug in 5.4.

Andy

Hiya,

Will try and check out this upgrade, but I have no s/ware bugs apparent in my version, so will probably wait for 5.4.1., as and when!

Stu

I see the 5.41 RT3 software is available form the Eurovan2 site.
Is this ok to download and install on an 03 plate Uylsse?
Also what software is best to use to burn the image to CD?

Hi Pat.

The 5.41 has been available for some time off the EV2 website [just don't mention this link to John_K ;)]

Yes, it is OK to download and install - however, please follow all instructions, and ensure engine is running at all times, to ensure a consistent voltage. Also, if you mess up, it is very doubtful that the RT3 unit will be replaced under warranty.

It was some time ago when I burnt it, but iirc, it is an ISO file and can be burnt using Nero, or similar.

I did it no problem after leaving it a while to see if anyone had problems....just follow the instructions and you'll do ok. I think it was worth it.
