hi guys,

been away for some time, thought i'd drop in with something different. Question: do you reckon air ionizers help enhance your cabin life? I know the climate control system has some kind of pollen filters or something, that improves the air in the car and removes the pollutants etc., etc.,...but i've installed an ionizer in my other saloon car recently, and frankly, I thought it worked rather well actually. could be psychological though as it may have some influnce on the way you'd think, but with continued use, i'm beginning to believe in it. for those who hasn't heard of it, it's supposed to generate more -ve ions of air molecules in the air something akin to fresh air you'd find in natural habitats (in the woods / waterfalls etc.,)

anybody installed one in their beloved(?) ulysse? woulb be good to hear your comments.

cheers now...

Hi,

Not a route that I have really thought about, nor tempted by. I never really hang around woods/waterfalls :D, only pubs ;), so may find the natural habitat that is generated may be a shock to the system!!!!

I suppose I am not in the car enough to justify it - the missus only uses it for school runs, and we use it as a weekend car. Even on long distances, I find the climate control totally adequate.

Cheers

Stu

OK, OK, I get the drift.

But...hey! Think of it! A "Pub-scented" ionizer might be a cool idea???[8D].....Naaah!

buzzing off (to the woods) now...

I had an ionizer fitted to my last car and didn't really notice the difference (but it was a gift and probably a cheap one, so I guess that's no surprise).....
