Hi,

I popped into the dealer to try and sort out our random beeping problem. Apparently it is caused by the RT3 unit not speaking to the body computer. According to Fiat Technical services you need to ensure the VIN number is correctly programmed into the RT3 unit. This had to be done with the Examiner system at the dealer. Although my VIN number seemed correct, they deleted it and re-entered it and I haven't had a beep yet, but I will have to wait for a few days to be sure it is cured.

While I was there they showed me all the features on the system, which was pretty interesting. Believe it or not they can see how hard you drive the car by looking at the maximum revs you have reached.

Hi,

Is this examiner same as Diag2000, or something else?

Interesting point about the VIN number - I have never experienced any beeping yet, so mine must be ok [that's if I could read the thing through the windscreen.....]

seems fiat will need more computer programmers and less mechanics if the ulyssee is a hit!

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, what do you want? cupholders? open door warning light? grow up!

Hi,

If the Diag2000 is a laptop with a touch screen it is the same thing.

Maybe it was the computer programmers causing the problem. Apparently Fiat is having a real problem getting all the info from Peugeot which is why they are struggling to fix some things.
