Hi,

Does anybody have mud flaps fitted to their new Ulysse. I am not keen on washing cars and most of the dirt seems to be sprayed up by the wheels.

Hi,

I didn't see them as an option either, but I know the 807 has them in the options book.

I will have to ask the main dealer.

Hi,

I was being foolish, ask the main dealer about something which isn't in the book !!!!!

My dad got some for his (after dealer told him they didnt do them !)
fiat part numbers were 71801621 & 71801622 not sure which was front & which was rear & under a tenner a set ...hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for that, just spoke to dealer and they are ordering them in at £8.21 a set.

Pretty cheap.

Poggy

Thanks all - will also have a word with my dealer and get a set - looking at the state of the bottom of the car today, it certainly needs them! :)

Hi,

Just got a message from the dealer, apparently the mud flaps have been discontinued. They are looking at alternatives and will get back to me. No doubt these will be a lot more exepensive as the others were cheap.

Regards,

Poggy

Exactly - I had mentioned about spending £8.21 per set to the missus, and she said 'how sad' [V]

So, alternatives? Will dealer get back to you for one!

Stuart

Hi,

Apparently the alternative is to buy a car cleaning kit as there are no mud flaps for the Ulysse now.

Hi,

Maybe the Citroen or Peugeot versions will fit. Just have to change the logo's.

Poggy

Good idea - may as well debadge the whole car! Now that would be fun. Or change the whole lot to a Peugeot, and hope second hand values/residuals based on their list price!

Stuart

Hi,

Dealer called back and said he spoke to Fiat and the mud flaps are in "development". He said give them 6 months and they should be available. Given 6 months to develop, they should be a very good set of mud flaps.
