Technical hello and help please!

Hello Just bought a 2nd hand 2003 Ulysse. Everything is great except no fans working. I have had the passenger side fan out and it is blowing fine for the feet part. but the dash fans are not doing anything at all. the display is showing all is on full.

Could do with fixing asap as school goes back tomorrow and it is chilly

i have had both the motors off and they are both fine. I cannot seem to get into the relearn menu. Pollen filter is fine.
Could it be something with the selector flaps??

Hi.

The Ulysee is not your average FIAT.

The pug and citroen sister cars
Can be a good starting point for info.

Could be basic wiring..or control issue.

have been having a read on the other 2 too but still no avail. Been quoted £110 just for fiat to look at it

There are at least 3 fans I think. One in each side panel of the foot wells and the main one that serves the dash board vents is also reachable in the passenger floor well but mounted on the engine bulkhead below and behind the glove box. I think this is well known for needing a prod from time to time or at least disconnecting and reconnecting. Mine gave me trouble twice but has behaved since and the second time I managed to fix it in a car park so not too difficult. If you look at ePER above, select Go - Spare Parts - Fiat - Ulysee - Nuovo Ulysee - 501 Ventilation & Heating - Show all Sub Categories then scroll down to the schematics it might be helpful. I removed my main fan looked at it applied 12v to prove it worked put it back and its worked, save for the second minor hiccup, ever since. Good Luck

well managed to get the main fan off and it works when hooked up to a battery. will reconnect in the morning and see if it works. thanks for the help and fingers crossed it work!
