I need to change my passenger's side wing mirror. Looks like you have to remove the door panel and haven't a clue how to do it. It may be that I have to remove the electric window control but when I tried that it feels like I am going to snap something.

If yours is an ulysses it’s dead easy to remove the door panel. Pride out the electric door switch & disconnect the two leads. There’s a hex screw in the door pull under the cap. There’s a hex screw under the door at the very bottom in the middle. There’s a hex screw on the top of the door panel at the end by the dashboard. The door panel should then unclip from the bottom & lift off. The door light can be fed through the hole in the panel & the lead for the speaker needs to be unclipped then the door panel should come clean away

If it's an EV1 then you don't need to remove the door panel
