Hi,

I got my carpet set and dog guard today for my new Ulysse. The carpet set is pretty good, although I have one bit left which I can't figure out. It is about 30cm long by about 10cm with a little cut out. It's not the bit between the front seats.

The other problem is the dog guard. Behind the second row seats at roof level are two plastic covers behind which according the manual is meant to have two metal brackets. The dog guard is meant to hook into these, but when I pulled the plastic covers down there were no metal brackets (it was empty).

Can anybody check theirs for me to see if it is just mine or a change in design. You just need to pull one of the covers down.

Thanks

Hi,

Just been to dealer, they obviously don't fit the brackets under the plastic covers. So if you order the retaining net or dog guard you will need to order these parts as well.

Seems stupid as they are in the owners manual as being supplied.

Hi,

I checked this on day one - this was the day my so called long luggage cover [as just supplied] was confused with the luggage retaining net [at the same time, my dealer said my windows were privacy tinted, even though I could see straight through the whole lot].

When I pulled the cover down, as you rightly said, nothing!

Anyway, will check that missing carpet piece tonight, as well as glean the latest software version off the system.

Hi,

By the way they cost about £10 each + VAT, not cheap for two metal brackets which should have been in the car anyway.

I am going to try and get Fiat to pay for them.

Hi,

Poggy, think I may have found the missing piece to the jigsaw, unless you have already sussed it.

When you look in the passenger footwell, there is a gap to the top left. Lo and behold, this is where my 30*10cm piece has been put by the dealer! I presume it is there because our cars are right hand drive!

Hi,

It's still in the boot, so thanks for that. The dog was taking a shine to it and was trying to chew it.
