The problem is it has stopped working. Checked all the fuses guess its off to the garage on monday. Hopefully nothing to serious but its still under guarantee.

Same happened to me, the pump broke. They fitted a new one under warranty, the same pump is used for the front and rear.

Not sure if it is covered under the 3rd year warranty, but it is located inside the wing behind the wheel arch protector.

Got a huge chip in the windscreen today, this will be our second replacement windscreen if it can't be repaired.

thats what i thought but the strange thing is the rear one spitting out water as normal.

Possibly a loose connection in the control stock then ?.

Its only 3 months old so shouldnt be a problem :)

Sorry to hear about the windscreen.

On our's the rear washer stopped first and then the shortely after the front stopped as well.

Can't see how it works, but the garage said they just reverse the motor direction to swap between front and rear.

Went to get the windscreen fixed, they connected the vacuum pump to inject the liquid perspex into the chip and the screen cracked.

This will be our third windscreen in 20 months, I am not going to be popular with Tesco insurance. Apparently it cost £600-700 if your not insured.

You can use one motor to feed to feeds by using one way water valves.
4 of them.
each side of the pump has a value that allows water to draw from the water bottle but not back to it. and a second valve that allows the water to flow up to the screen but not be sucked back.
So if the pump draws from one side it willd raw from the bottle and them pump up to the screen. the same the other way round.
Also has the benefit that water sits in the pipes because it can't run back so you get instant response. Bad side is the pump has to work hard to overcome the two valves.
