Haven't had much joy from the manual yet. Got a strange problem - my connect system appears to be stuck in the mode to do with mpg etc.
The phone, radio, nav all seem ok, but the main one is stuck on 'overspeed warning off/on'. Escape doesn't take you back to the mpg readouts.

Trouble is, off to France in a few days - no time to get in to main dealer really. Thought I might try a reset of the computer. On the Picasso, it was simply disconnect/reconnect of the battery, but if I do that, will I lose say the sat nav stored destinations, or are these preserved by the back-up battery?!

No big deal, but as I don't get to drive it much, I'm looking forward to the trek to France, and would like to play with my onboard computer! (typical bloke I suppose).

thanks
Noddy :)

This the Nav or Nav+ system?!

There is a way to reset it - I am sure poggy will confirm in it a bit, but I think it involves holding down a button on the unit for a length of time - but which one :chin:

sorry - keep calling it connect - it's just the basic nav system - monochrome screen, no fancy graphics. I work in IT, so was expecting a combination of buttons to reset - like you say - which ones!

Well pleased with the car so far - just thought of another niggle - will post another new thread - must do some work in aminute though!

:D

To reset you need to press DARK for ~10 seconds. It's as ctrl-alt-del in windows... (n)

If I understand your post, you don't need to reset.
Toggle between board computer modes using the pushbutton at the edge of wipers stalk.

Thanks for that Apis - I'll try it over lunch - as you can see - I haven't got to grips with the computer yet!
cheers

Thanks - it was just that! I had been trying to use the little dial you use for the sat nav etc - didn't realise it doesn't work on the trip computer.
thanks again
