I've read on http://807faults.co.uk/ that their is a modified seal for the front doors in order to stop the front passenger and driver getting the air blown onto their sides which should be directed up pillars for the middle row of passengers.

I have asked around several Peugeot dealers who do not know of a modifed seal. Does anyone here know of such an item as my seals are not big enough as they do not make a seal when the doors are closed. I definately need one, passenger not too bad, but driver has about a 5mm gap!

Cheers, will contact them tomorrow. If they can't help I might just try gluing on so draught seal- just ordered a real for to use in addition with the pollen filter housing which is still letting in engine smells plus inside of windscreen gets black. Got new housing with clips as you recommended, nearly lost the will to live trying to refit it, but it still stinks! Fingers crossed, Louth will be able to help with the door seal and I'll let you know how it goes.

Fran, the driptray mod....... how do you know if you have it already? Is there a picture before and after anywhere?

That's fantastic Fran and hard to believe the damage not having this piece of plastic can cause. I'd better get Louth to order me one of those as well :)

Drip tray in place, thanks for contact Fran. As for the rear vent seals in the front doors, I cannot find anyone who knows more on the subject of newer versions. I have however sorted mine by pulling my out slightly, and I used some black 'w' shaped draught seal I had knocking about and stuck two strips back to back and then in a loop behind the lip in the door seal just to bring it forward slightly. It blends in perfectly and now only have very minimal leakage with fans on full. May be worth a try if the leak is very bad as it was with my drivers door.

Did you remove the brace bar? I had to because there wasn't enough of a gap to slide it under the expansion tank. Will tackle the draughty door vent soon, first I need to get the air con recharged for summer as it just isn't cold enough!

Left brace bar in place, just lots of bending and swearing - but then I have bought the car from someone who had the gearbox re conditioned and the garage who did the work obviously didn't care about anything under the bonnet as hoses and wires were not tied in place and I have no idea what else (apart from the oil filler tube bracket) is broken and left to be fixed!

I removed the brace bar - but the drain was still a tight fit. The instructions show the clips on the plate engaging with the plastics above the hoses - which doesn't work even with the expansion tank lifted. Bit of PIA, but glad I did it.

The link I posted is now dead, shame as that site had great potential but unfortunately a victim of spam bots!
