I wonder if anyone knows how to solved my remote key problem. My key only has one button for lock/unlock it stopped working,and I found that one of the pins of the LED was snapped. I soldered the pin together and it is sending a signal as I have a I/R remote tester at work, but it will not work on the car. I have seen the threads about reprogramming keys but you lot have fancier keys with two or more buttons!. I also lost the spare key but was able to get spares cut. I would like to get the remote working without paying the dealers £120 for a replacement as the drivers door lock does not always catch ie the key can spin round doing nothing. A Quick fix is WD40.
