hi, i have lost the only key i had for an old ulysse that i use occasionally.

my question is if i can source a new ignition barrel and key(s), will i be able to code them into the immobiliser or will i need to get the immobiliser unit and anything else off the donor car to match to allow car to start.

not sure if anyone can remember what system is on these cars as i know its an old car but for sentimental reasons i would like to get it running again.

as far as i can see it has a bosch diesel pump with four wires at the back of it and there is a texton alarm/immobiliser unit behind dash..

Hi, been a while since posted this but Been busy and have not had time to work at this for months but have finally got round to it.
Having lost key and researched as much as I could, I decide to cut the armour off the rear of fuel pump and require stop solenoid on pump.
First things first, to remove armour is a very slow and time consuming job but managed it eventually after approx 12 cutting discs.
Next I removed black immobiiser unit (4 wires in to it), by it's two retaining bolts, and behind this is the stop solenoid ( one black wire connected to it from immobiiser unit.
I removed solenoid and tested on bench and working okay so refitted and wired it to a permanent live so I could attempt to start car.
However car will still not start, i have fuel primed up to pump, solenoid 'clicks' on when powered but still no fuel present at rear of pump
Does anyone know what else could stop the fuel getting through pump, as far as I'm aware that unit is the immobiliser but do not have any wiring diagrams showing me another unit, would be grateful for any suggestions either by reply or p.m,
