Hi, I have a 1997 1.9TD Ulysse, it had a carck in the oil cooler so I changed it, at the same time I changed the oil and filter, the day after I flushed the cooling system to remove as much oil out of the expansion tank as poss. The day after the oil warning light started to flicker on and off and then came on solid, it goes off when ignition off but comes on after a few seconds of ignition on, it does not over heat the light comes on even when engine cool. I have heard this could be service indicator, if so can I turn it off myself? any help welcome thanks.

Turns out it was just a faulty temp switch..
