i have a 2002 fiat ulysse EL.
both front seats have a lit button to heat the seats but, though the switches work, the seats dont feel like they are warming up.
i have driven a new model vauhall corsa (sorry) where the heated seats were notably very warm once activated.

the seats fuse appear to be intact.

Q1. do the heating elements in these older cars become weaker over time

Q2. if the switch lights up does that mean the heating element should be connected (shared connection)
