I have a 1998 Ulysse 2.0EL. The interior lights have packed up when the doors are opened. They all work individually but not when the passenger doors are opened. The rear ones work OK.

Given they are subject to time delay there must be some sort of relay or controller that operates them. Does anyone know where the offending part is situated and its part number. My not so local dealer came up with 9620031880 or 9609668780 but was unable to tell me which went where or where they were on the car! I have also heard from Peugeot dealers (assuming the 806 is the same) that the problem may require a very expensive module replacement.

I have a 1998 1.9TD and have exactly the same problem, which no-one seems able to solve. So you are not alone - lets hope someone comes up with a helpful answer!

I have 97 TDS and the culprit is the switch for room (middle). I took it apart and noticed that due to sparking the plastic holder that hold the slider switch had melted and the contact is broken. Got to modify the switch or have them replaced at great cost.
