hi guys just got a 03 eleganza 2.0jtd and the hand brake when applied only makes the rear disc pads stick on when i take off the wheel the arm that the cable goes into is very stiff and does not return. can i just unbolt the arm and clean it out or is it not that simple.
i am also looking ot download a workshop manual if anyone knows where i can get one many thanks

Try disconnecting the cable and see if the lever is free to return, the cables may be sticking. If the lever does not return then it needs a strip down and clean. If the cable is stiff replace it, When I was replacing the rear pads I found the cable had a considerable amount of water in it even though I had replaced both cables only 6 months before!
