This is my first post, so first of all hello. I've just bought a 2002 Ulysse jtd el.I'm very pleased with it so far, especially the fuel consumption after coming from a mitsubishi delica. I have a couple of problems which some of you may be able to help with. I have no outside temperature display, no clock and the remote locking doesnt work from the key. I'm guessing that these three things could be related and could be a fuse. Does anyone know if these are all on the same fuse ? And the fusebox is in the glovebox I Think ? Many thanks.

Welcome to the Fiat Forum,
not sure if they are all on the same fuse but could well be as they run roughly the same current for each, but yes the fuse box is at the back of the glovebox just pull them out 1 by 1 with the ignition switched off and check for damage/blown fuse.
HTH

I assume this is the Ulysse Mk 1, is the display on the roof? if so sounds like the bulbs are gone in the display, how are the batteries in the "blip"? Hope this helps, T

Hi, and thanks for your help. The clock is in the roof, next to what i think is a "door open" warning picture of a car, which also doesnt work. Temp. display is inbetween speedo and rev counter. I thought i would check the fuse first and then check battery in key.I'll let you know what happens. Yes it is a mk 1. Thanks again.

Hi, All the fuses are ok. If I shine a torch on the digital clock and temp display, you can see they are working so the bulbs behind them must have gone. I will change the battery in the key over the weekend and see if I can get remote locking working. Anyone know how hard it is to change the bulbs ? Thanks again for your help.

No problem changing the bulbs. Be careful levering out the light unit and you will find a couple of torx screws hidden behind. Once you have removed the cover the bulbs are easily accesible. When I first got my Ulysse 9 years ago I found half the bulbs were missing. I have since carried a few spares and have so far not needed any!

OK, i have changed the battery in the blip key and it has made no difference. I took the roof console off and changed the clock display bulb and now have a visible clock. While taking off the roof console i noticed that there wasnt anything behind the smoked dome thing, so maybe I dont have remote locking despite having buttons on the key. I tried to replace the bulb in the temp display. I removed the 5 screws in the black dash surround and spent about an hour trying to remove it without any luck. I removed 3 screws from the air vents, and 2 from the top of the surround, but it still seemed to be attached on the bottom left corner. Are there any more srews to remove that i couldnt see? Or maybe I didnt try pulling hard enough, because i didnt want to break it. Any advice on removing the dash surround gratefully received. Many thanks.
