Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

I think it's amazing looking at all the airbags these days and how there's often 8 or more from everywhere to protect you, that's advancement.

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

I remember this coming up first time round [been trying to search for it, I am determined to find it, lol].

Still amazes me every time I see it.

The Lancia is basically the same as the Ulysse, Citreon C8 and Peugeot 807 - just a few external styling differences, and interior trim.

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

most cars are these days.. fiat scudo for example... theres a few french versions going around lol....

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

The Ulysse is pretty much all Peugeot and it is made at the PSA factory, so Fiat doesn't even really get involved in the manufacture.

What's that? Stu drives a FRENCH car? :p

Yep, I even used to drive a Renault Clio until it broke on me ;), plus we had a Citreon ZX 1.9TD.

Reason I didn't buy Peugeot/Citreon this time is easy - the price ;)

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

Me too, down to lower price for higher spec. The funny thing is that Fiat were responsible for a lot of the electronics, not what they got the best reputation for.

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

I knew about the clio but not the ZX - good honest car, nothing special at all but just a good enough car.

See if P/C were cheaper you may be driving a 307 instead of the abarth then aswell and you wouldn't even exist here

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

Mind you I would never admit to a diesel Citroen ZX !!!!

Re: Photos of accident in Phedra (Lancia version)

I would, I would be happy for somebody to buy me one right now! They are stupidily cheap, have a fairly good TD engine, roomy and normal French comfort....I will get into trouble if i go on further lol.

True, but it was for Jules ;) - also we needed a car after she got bored of her Vitara JLX [red with white soft top], and her brother was selling it cheap. I think it was Aura spec, on an L plate iirc. Internal trim was awful, handling horrendous, but in a straight line, the 1.9TD rocked, lol.

Paul,

Stu will ban you if there is any more foolish talk like that.

Lol, wait til I get to my Mondeo :D

My first car as a student was a Ford Escort MkI which was made the same year I was born. It never let me down for the 2 years I had it, but it was stolen when I was at University.
