Hi,

There are many references in the forum regarding the changing of the cambelt. The original recommendation from Fiat was 6 years or 72,000 miles but this seems to have changed to 5 years and 60,000 miles. I was quoted from £800 (Corby Rockingham Cars) to £1,200 (Desira, Southgate London) This was without the water pump and belts which everybody recommends should be done at the same time as failure of the water pump/belts can take the timing belt out. I had mine done privately including full service for £450.00. I know that this was a very good price as the mechanic spent much longer on it then he anticipated so £450.00 without a service may have been closer to the correct price.

Hope this helps.

Lou
