Hi guys,

I have a Ulysse 2.0 petrol 16v Emotion (2004, recent model). My (summer)tyres are 205/60 R16 C sized.

Now, I want winter tyres but I don't know what size rim (is it called rim, the steel wheel inside the tyre?) I need. The manual suggests the wheel size "that is fitted under the car" and on an other page it says 205/65 R15. But my wheels are 16". Since I want to reuse my wheel covers I need 16" steel rims, but I can't find a size on my wheels.

Can anyone tell me what size of steel rims I need to buy?

Thanks,
FlodNar.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply.
I want to place them on new wheels but keep the tyre size 205/60R16. I have enough space to store them. The manual suggests the following wheel size: 6 1/2 J x 15 H2 ET43. But that is for 15" wheels, and I have 16". I inspected the wheels but I did not find any other information then A4139 on the wheels self. Via a website I also found out the following sizes: 5x98, needed to correctly fit the wheel under the car. What should the ET value be?

Regards,
FlodNar.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your reply. I earlier found allcar.nl, but they only come up with 15" wheels for my car, according to the manual. Also no reference to 16" materials.

Can you point me to an article number from allcar.nl for a steel wheel? What height should the tyre have if I choose an 195? Also 60?

Regards,
FlodNar.

Thanks for your quick advice. I think I'd go for the 195/70R15 tyres.
How does the change in size effect my speed gauge?
