just wondering when you all change the second belt change , mine was done
at 70k andnot the 100k reconmended and im comming up to 120k and probley
wait till 140k ,,,
Anybody 2nd belt snaped rather than the first ..
 
Hi,
What do you mean by "second belt" are you talking about the drive belt for the alternator etc?. I would advise changing timing belt every 50K and do the aux belt at the same time, I always do tensioner and idler bearings and water pump at the same time, remember the aux belt can snap and get caught in the cam belt and take that out!, belts are cheap compared to a top rebuild.

he means 2nd belt as in it will be its 3rd cambelt on the engine since new.

and chances are the cambelt snapping is on cars over 5 yrs old.
