I have a 2003 (new shape) 2.0 Petrol Automatic.

Left it in for service and the dealer quoted around £700 for genuine pads and discs front and rear or about half that (£350) for after-market ones

They've since got back to me to say that there are no after market rear discs made so I have to use Fiat ones costing an extra £100 each

Did a bit of googling and am no wiser.

Can anyone confirm if this is the truth (not that my dealer would tell fibs )

Hi, I have a 03 ulysse 2.2jtd and I got my front disks and pads from shop4parts, if you send them a email with car registration number, and state what you want they will look for you, my rear ones are quoted as
Brake Disc S4P1487 £35.92 +vat
Brake Pads S4P2445 £35.28 +vat
and I have seen the petrol versions there as well, hope that helps

What sort of mileage are you on?
I've just replaced my front discs at approx 70K miles and the rears are still good. And I tow a folding camper!
