hi
i had my car checked by a mechanic as the airbag warning light was on the dashboard and it was showing a fault on the screen. has anyone ever had this problem or have any ideas as to where to start looking for a fix to the problem ?

Hello.... and Welcome here! (y)

Try the connector plugs under the seats, if all look OK do a search and have a look what others have done on Stilo cars.

On Mrs Ffoxy's 1.2 Stilo I cut the connectors off and connected the wiring up using 3 amp barrier strips, never had the warning since.

Could be the OCS mat in the seat though, but its worth trying the simple stuff first. Any warning should go off once the problem has been fixed, it doesnt need dealer magic spells on Examiner. :)

cheers ffoxy
ill give it a go !!!!!
i see your in shropshire i work in bridgnorth .

If its a new style ulysse I wouldn't touch it, they are notoriously bad (being French) and unpredictable. Despite what is often said (against commonsense advice) this is one to definately not mess around with.

T should know...
Seriously, be careful... the airbags might deploy if you dont disconnect the battery for a good while before you do anything. I've done Mrs Ffoxy's Stilo but its your choice.
