Hi again everyone. Wondering if anyone can help resolve my latest issue... the third row passenger side seat is jammed. I can use it as a seat, or fold it forward to table position, but cant tip it forward any more to remove it from the car. We are going camping in a few weeks and need as much space as possible, it doesn't look like anything is missing when comparing it to the other seats, but i cant find a way to release it at all. Am hoping a trip to a garage can be avoided with a little bit of help from you very nice people.

Hi which year do you have?, if its the one where when you fold the seat forward and it automatically unlocks the back part of the chair and tips, b4 you pull the lever at the front to take out, then its fairly easy, as i had that problem on mine, I will try to explain how to lift out, but if you look at one of the other chairs underneath you will understand better. When you tip chair forward, as it goes past a point, a lever (bar) underneath, automatically unlocks back part, all you need to do is locate the bar and lift forward (up) and that will unlock it, from what I have seen on my one its a cable gone, havent changed it yet thou as I can do it that way, hope that helps

Hi Andy, it's an 04 plate. I shall have a look later and see what i can see - hopefully it shall be as easy as you made it sound! I thought there must be a way to overcome it, wish me luck!

it is easy, as I had to do it without any assistants from the manual lol, 04 should be the same as mine as I have a 03, I dont think they changed it, goodluck, let us know how you got on

Hi Smias, if its the same as a 03 onwards model and as said earlier its on the rear underneath, youre best bet is to look under one of the other seats and at the back as the seat comes down you should see the bar move (it goes across underneath), that way you will know exactly where the bar is, its not easy explaining exactly where it is on here (sorry about that), remember thou to fold the knackered seat down first, b4 lifting bar, or it wont do it, good luck, let us know how you get on
