hi newbie here

got a 96 1.9td el and i keep getting a yellow warning light it looks like a canister with two tubes coming out of it and also has fliud in it what is this if anyone can help

i think its somthing to do with the fuel filter

Hi. In answer to your question, this symbol is a warrning light to indicate water in your diesel fuel separator. Dont worry it is quite normal for water condensation tobuild up in the fuel filter and there is a sensor to detect it. change or drain your fuel filter and this light should go out.

Don't worry about it, its only 4 months early as it is merely Christmas lights on the dash. These can appear at any stage, it's usually due to moisture ingress in the fuse boxes which is meant to illuminate around Christmas!!!!!
