First off please accept my apologises as the faults i am about to mention i am sure have been posted before but i plan to try and remedy them myself so need as much information as possible.I have a 53 Ulysse 2.2 hdi and listed below are a few things i need information on.
1 Anti-Pollution Warning and EDC light(amber) on.I am led to beleive that this vehicle requires an additve for the pdf filter.Contacted my local dealer and they quoted me £240 for 5 litres plus an hours labour.Is this right? Just need to know if the additive is readily available and is it possible to refill myself.
IS this additive the same as adblue used in truck engines which i can get at a fraction of the price.
2 Cambelt replacement.The car as done 72k and so i am about to change the cambelt. Need to know if any special tools required and are new tensioner and pulleys required.
Any help or information on these items would be greatly appreciated.
