Hi lads,
I've posted this in the Scudo forum with very little response. Thought I might get a better response here, seeing as they're basically the same thing.
Currently stripping out snapped gearstick linkage cable in my Scudo 02. I have managed to undo all the fixings except one. It's the connection at the two brackets in the engine conpartment just before the two ball joint connectors. They seem to be held in with a small spring clip, however I'm unable to remove the cable whether I spread or push together the small clip. I know it'll probably be something quite simple, but it's only easy when you know how. I'm also having probs where it passes thru cab to engine compartment.
Any of you lads know the trick?
Thought I'd post a couple of pics to make things clearer.
1. in the engine bay where the cables are connected to a couple of brackets. I'm dammed if I can work out how to unclip them. (The 3rd pic)
2. at the rubber sealing gasket where the cables pass from the cab into the engine conpartment. The rubber part has what looks like a small white plastic key, (You can see the small hole it came out of, in between the cables) that I removed, but still it wont budge. (The 1st two pics)
Thanks in advance for your help,
Gary
