Hi folks

It's been a while since posting a thread but our ulysse has been no problem until now. At the weekend I folded down and then removed the rear bench seat to move a wardrobe. I have put the seat back in and locked it into the floor but the back will not unfold back upright. The problem is the centre seatbelt which has locked and so the back will only unfold a short way before the seatbelt stops it. There is very little slack in the belt so I cannot feed any back in to the reel and I assume release it as with the other belts. Any ideas on how to get this to release?

Have you tried unzipping the cover to get inside seat and then dis-mantle whatever you have to ,too 'get it up'
A lesson for us all don't fasten seat belt then fold flat!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help that's what I thought I might have to do. One more job for the weekend!!

Quick update for you. Got the seatbelt unit out and it has now wound all the way back in and will not wind back out. Guess that's a new seatbelt unit on the shopping list!

I had this ,had to take the seat out again and turn the seat up right so the locking mecanism in the seat belt releases and then pull it right out and wrap it round the head rest, but the seat back in and unfold ,
we usaully leave it that way as we hardly ever use the middle belt but are all ways folding the seat up and down...
