this would appear to be an immobilizer problem.
i would check that the code is correct, If this fails, then check Fuel, Air and spark...

Does anyone know if the immob code is stored in the immob unit (Keypad) or in the Engine ECU.
Was the ecu changed, is the ecu matched to the immob like in Rovers

I'm fairly sure the codes in the ECU. But the ECU isn't on the engine it's in the engine bay so the original one should have been retained.

the keypad immob is very simple to bypass, just need to get the engine running to do it...
I would check if the ecu was changed, if it was, then are the keypad and the ecu matched pairs?
