This morning while sitting on a Bus heading for Central London I saw one of those 3 Ton box vans belonging to a Taxi/courier company called AddsionLee. This company has a fleet of MPV's of which about 80-90% are Fiat Ulysse's. The older model plus the newer model which comes in Black. This must be a special fleet order as I don't remember seeing Black as an option in the brochure. Anyway back to the point. On the side of this truck was a full size picture of a London scene with a Fiat Ulysse on it. On the Tailgate was a another picture showing a street scene with the back view of an Ulysse on it. I managed at one point to catch the offside of the truck and this had another street scene with an Ulysse on it.
So here is a company who have nothing to do with Fiat apart from purchasing their vehicles doing a pretty good job of advertising Fiats cars. I am beginning to wonder whether this is some kind of agreement with Fiat, as one thing Fiat have always failed to do for as long as I can remember is to agressively advertise their more expensive models. In fact the largest car I can recall being advertised on TV was the Fiat Strada (for whoever is old enough to remember it was the one with the robots and the soundtrack of Figaro). If only Fiat would advertise this car more then maybe with more people owning one we could expect garages to have a better knowledge of the vehicle. Then again us current owners would not have a unique vehicle.
