ulysses went in limp mode, took it to fiat, said it needed the fluid topping up, after 5 litres, did not solve the problem they then said air flow meter was wrong had that changed still in limp mode then they said throttle pedal sensor was coming up as a fault had that done, still in limp mode 800 pounds later, now they are saying they think it is the turbo asking for my permission to look at it, they admitted that the lack of fluid would not put the car in limp mode in the beginning as it will go 10.000 miles on no fluid but they filled it up anyway when it did not go in their for that reason any advice please

I am sure your car is out of warranty in which case be careful how much poking in the dark they do. I had a similar problem, I had various parts of the turbo changed with no luck and in the end it was a turbo replacement that fixed it. Mine was in it's third year which apparently does not cover a turbo replacement but as it was reported in the second year and the car was very low mileage it was replaced free of charge. I still find it hard to believe that the diagnostic system cannot be more specific as to the problem.

Good luck

Lou
