Hi everyone
I need to spray a mirror on my 2003 Ulysse. Fiat don't do anything but touch up pens. Halfords can mix some paint up if I can be specific about the colour. The sticker with the paint code is missing, a print out from Fiat says it is 453 and my manual says this is blue lake. Unfortunatley there are several different types of 453 paints. Is there anybody out there with a light blue, slightly metallic Ulysse who can tell me the correct paint code? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Try Fiat customer service and quote your chassis number they should be able to tell you exactly what shade it was painted

Nice looking car BTW

Thanks Steve. I've tried Mellors in Challow and Hartwells in Abingdon, they have supplied me with a print out which says its 453. Unfortunatley this is insufficient for someone to mix up the paint. I was hoping there was a fellow owner out there with the same year car who still had their paint code sticker attached. I've ordered a paint pen, hoping that will give me more information. The mirror cover was only £15 from fiat, and arrived in a couple of days, but getting the paint is proving to be a real pain.
Cheers
Dave

paint pen

Hi, Could you tell me where you got your paint code from and where you ordered your paint pen from i have a fiat ulysse 2003 2.0l v6 which is blue but the car manual has a few blue colours and i dont know which is mine any help would be grateful:bang:

Have a look in the Motor Factors section of your local yellow pages. You may be lucky enough to find an auto-paint specialist who will take a look at your car and mix up a tin or a spray can on the spot (such as Autopaint of Thornton, Fife, no relation:D). This caters for sun-fading etc that may have slightly altered the colour from the original. I've used them before and been very pleased with the results.(y)

Re: paint pen

If you go into a Fiat Dealer, they should be able to get a print out of all the details of your car. Normally the Reg. No. is enough, but if not the chassis number will do it. This print out is particularly useful because it lists any work done under warranty and recalls.

my nearest fiat dealer is 120 miles away i used him before but never again so thats that out the window

Hurrah
I've got a paint stick, and my colour is 453/A Azzurro Lago/Puccini.
I can paint my mirror cover now and put the car up for sale.
If anybodys interested in the perfect family car for less than 6K, please look in the classifieds. I'm going to get another Multipa, they're faster and more quirky.

That is definitely Lagoon blue in the UK, Puccini is blue in Italian.
