Been into this before somewhere, but hoping there might be new info!?
Does anyone know of a way of reproducing an Orange Sim Card or a man who can?
We use the in car sim card holder but are worried about damaging both card and 'phone with the number of times it gets taken apart. Not happy with the pay as you go alternative sim idea, as it costs a fortune to divert incoming calls and the tax man probably won't believe that I need yet another company 'phone!
Any ideas?

There is NO benefit-in-kind any more on company mobile phones!

I think some guys on here have this arrangement sorted, same number on the RT3 and their mobile - not sure of the ins and outs, though.

Vodafone (which my company use) have a 'dual sim' option for corporate users, and I use that. I don't know what Orange do. Best thing is to ask them!

Have asked Orange several times - and will keep asking. They have said that they are looking into setting it up but never say when.
Might suggest to them that I take the contract to Vodafone!

If you believe the adverts, get your work colleagues to move to Vodafone also and you can call one another for free! :D

I have dual sim. only Vodafone offer this service...at present

I dail *131# to direct incoming calls when in the car, The same code is entered on the mobile when I get out.

I'm in the comms game, so when other carriers offer dual sims, i'll put it here.

That alone won't do poggy.

The network needs to be have the service that dictates which device recieves incoming calls.

Otherwise, once the car is turned off, all calls would go to VM. Either that or you take the sim out and manually swap the sims. But then you risk damaging the dam thing.

It's Vodafone or nothing.

Hi,

As long as you only switch one on at a time, I think it will work. I had it on another car a while ago.

The Vodafone dual-sim service works a treat - now been on it for a year, and not had a problem (apart from forgetting to switch calls back to my handset a couple of times, but that's no bad thing at times!)!
