Help I have an S reg Ulysse. At present the climate control panel is refusing to turn on. I have taken it to a Fiat garage (Arnold Clark where I felt i was being ripped off!!) and they said the panel was faulty and I would have to have a new one fitted, £800 + vat + labour!!!

I tried taking it elsewhere but so far have just been told that only Fiat can fit them and that if I got a secondhand one again only Fiat could fit this, which I am sure thay would not do!!

Can anybody help me either by telling me a cheaper way to do this or recommending another Fiat garage where I could go to without feeling ripped off!

I think you would be better to look for a 2nd hand one and fit it yourself.
Its not a job the would require any special equipment or skills, as far as a know.
I would give it a go as you will probably save the £800.
Bear in mind its a fiat so it not that well put together in the first place.

i had this roblam on a 2000 v if its the sliding type and not the button one ,i had to short out the chip to reset the interir thermostst with a curcuit test earthed out.
