hi can anyone help?! i just wondered if anyone knew how much a 2 litre petrol fiat ulysse could pull. I am wanting to pull a horse trailer but my car doesnt have a towbar on it yet and there would be no point in getting one put on if wont be able to pull the trailer.

Check kerb weights of vehicle against kerb weight of trailer, you want the vehicle to be higher obviously

Take into consideration also the horse/s weight also when doing your sums

I always thoughtyou could tow up to 90% of the vehicles weight and that was why you see 4x4's and people carriers towing but not small cars, but according to the punto handbook my jtd can tow 60kg over its weight

1300kg is all I can find with a quick search. Trailer unladen weights vary from anything between 600kg to 1650kg. What trailer are you planning on using?

The Train weight of the car is listed on the chassis plate which is what weight the car can tow - the weight of the car towing.
