Hi
Does anyone know the best (easiest) way to replace the drivers side front fog lamp on a MK 1 Ulysse? I have had a look round and it seems to be fairly inaccessible from all directions without the removal of something else - headlight or part/all of the bumper plastics.
Cheers

Hi folks
I have had no replies on this one I see, so I guess that the need to replace a front fog lamp on a mk1 Ulysse is not one that arise too often!
I have had a good look around the front of the car and as far as I can make out it looks like the front bumper needs to be removed to get proper access to the fixings for the lamp, I can't see an obvious cheat. So my next question is - has anyone had experience of front bumper removal/replacement on this car and is it easy or difficult and is there a best way of doing it?
Cheers

Yes been there done that took me about3 hours.I did this when I first got my car about 4 years ago. From memory you have to start under drivers wheel arch and strip out the arch liner to get at the washer bottle reservoir and then slacken off the bumper bolts and I think slacken part of the grill as well. Not any easy job and I had to use a fair bit of force to squeeze the light in. No idea what the official route in is but I suspect the dealer fitting charge is quite substantal.
