I have a 2013 Fiat Fiorino 1.4 and am hoping to get a bit more horsepower and fun out with some basic upgrades in mind.

1. Air Induction kit
2. Air Intake manifold & throttle body
3. Complete Exhaust system
4. ECU Remapping

I would really appreciate any advice with regards to this.

A good chiptuner can boost a modern engine a very noticable 10-20 HP with ease and without trouble and to a moderate price...under 1-2 hours..

( and now think of all the trouble fitting an expensive Turbo.....)

That might be true for a bigger engine. not so true on the 1.4. and usually that means raising the rev limit... and having the extra power very hing in the rev range.
The OP didn't say which version of the 1.4 he has...probably the 8v 73 hp one.

Being a 8v it doesn't like to rev to high (i.e cant breath enough in the top end).

I don't want to be negative, just be realistic the tune will give power increases.... but is the ~300 euro worth the extra 6hp max power increase?

I am not against tuning, i took my 1.4 t-jet 120hp, to 194 hp....basically i increased the power by adding all the power of a 1.4 Fiorino.

The only real way to add power to a NA engine is to add a bigger cam (duration and height), or even better replace the head to a 16v one(if possible not sure the 16v head can go on the 8v block).. easily possible to take it up to 95-100 hp-depending on the head.... but this isn't cheap or easy either.
Of course any of the modifications will require a tune.

Thanks for the help guys. Its is a 1.4 8v. Couldn't afford the Multijet.

I also had the idea of getting a better head, intake and throttle body in future as I find the right parts and person for the job.

Have to do some more research to see which would work best. If you have any more suggestions with this your input would be much appreciated.
