Does twinair 105 turbo fits a 85 twinair

Ciao I got a Twin air 500 85 hp and i want some more power out of it, it's got 110hk at the moment with a remap and a cold air intake
but do the bigger turbo from the 105s fits my motor?

We have a 105 and I'd agree the difference from 85 feels significant. I am curious which cold air feed you used. I have been looking at BMC and K&N but can't seem to find one specific to the car? Sorry this doesn't answer your question...

Questions to be answered include:

Are the turbos actually different, or just a different wastegate to give different boost.

It will almost certainly fit, but will it benefit. More boost will only gain more power if the ECU is programmed to use it. Otherwise it is confused, and will show an overboost fault.

Are there any engine mechanical changes with the higher output? Or will it break something?

There may be other considerations.

For the ecu tune, just get a custommade remap after installing the bigger turbo for the 105 then it will work fine i guess cant see any problem..
im looking for about 150 hk out of my TA when im done with it, going to get at decat downpipe now and high flow exhaust, then i will dyno it again
