Hi guys,
Has anyone tried to put the turbo of the 1994 Ulysse 2.0 8v turbo (RGX engine) on a 1999 or nuovo Ulysse 2.0 16v (RFV/RFN engine)?

I can get a complete engine for a couple of hundred quid, I'm thinking of doing this sometime for the fun of it.

If I look at e-per, the turbo is a 1 on 1 swap with the exhaust manifold and the piping a 1 on 1 swap with the inlet manifold.

I've got mates who can refurbish the turbo, I won't put in a 20 year old turbo just like that, that's asking for it.

I wonder if the pistons are a 1 on 1 swap
I still have to take a look at the compression ratio's, but the partno's in e-per are different (doesn't surprise me, compression needs to be lowered).

Gudgeon pins will have to be new in any case, as well as piston rings.
If injectors don't deliver sufficient fuel, I've got 6 from my Alfa Romeo V6 lying around somewhere.

Only thing I haven't figured out is who the hell can tune this thing? It's probably PSA software and not Fiat, actually, I'm sure of it.

I reckon the whole shabang should easily deliver 200bhp with 16v instead of 8v and will make the Autobahn a lot more comfortable on vacations.

In any case, any and all helpful comments welcome.
