Hey people

Im looking to upgrade the front brake calipers on my Tipo. I currently have 257mm brakes off a 2L Dedra. I want to fit 284mm 16v brakes but I will concider anything. Will any other brakes bolt straight on? Im not interested in 4 pot Brembo. cheers

Also, if you have some 16V calipers for sale let me know, cheers!

Ok Steve as I run this set up I know it works, tipo discs with coupe 16vt calipers, using 3mm spacers as the calipers run a little too close to the std rims. No problem with coupe wheels though. I found these to be really acceptable on the track, and they have bigger pistons then the std tipo ones, an easy upgrade.

Thanks guys. now I just got to find some.

Are Alfa calipers 155/156 etc the same mount spacing?

155 16v are the same as the sedici ones. 156 are different.

If its the same design as the ones I had, looks like its missing a spring and some rubber slide covers. Rich can confirm if the coupe 16vt have/need the spring.

Mine look just like hell cats, yes they have and need the spring, but there were 2 types fitted to the 16vt, not sure of the difference though.
Steve your pictures dont work for me,

thats them, but you must get the spring too, sure they would be available seperate, but what pain to have to go digging for them.
