Hi all,

My M reg 1.4 ie failed its MOT on a below par right hand rear hand brake.

Have changed the cable, shoes and fitted a new cylinder (as the old one was weeping a little) but still cant get hand brake efficiency as it appears not all the components on the self adjuster mechanism are there... and the rest look bent and/or broken in places.

Have no Tipos at my scrappy and my Fiat main dealer wants £plenty + vat and says it will take 2 weeeks from italy if at all !!!!!

Does anyone have one lying around that I could buy? Am based Reading area but work in London and will be happy to deal by post too.

Alternatively does anyone have any pics or advice on rear adjuster servicing/ mending etc as Haynes is USELESS on this!

Think the kit out of a bravo/brava could be used instead. Should be easier and cheaper than trying to find individual parts from a Tipo.
