Hi there.
I'm new here , i have 1.4 tipo (93').
I would like to know wich kind of a weber carb will fit to my car??

Thanks,
but if i want to put a larger carb ?
what kinds will fit to my tipo?
does 40 mm will fit?
or 38 mm ?

No thanks,
I'm form Israel so its kind of a problem ,
so you saying that i can put a 40 mm carb to my 1.4 tipo?

But a biger carb will improve the performance of the car , right?
more power?

Not always. The stock cam is very weak too.

You could fit Twin weber DCNF 36's or 40's They would go well.

The 'hot' camshaft will make better use of improved carburettors. Doing one without the other is often a waste of time/money, if only because you have to re-tune if you later change the setup (see below).

There are companies that can regrind your camshaft (the cheapest option).

Incidentally I don't know of any bigger carbs that fit the weird Tipo manifold, I suspect you would be better to use an aftermarket FIAT 128 manifold for twin carbs (Bayless in the USA, etc.)

Choosing jet sizes for the carbs needs to be done by someone having a selection of sizes and a fuel/air mixture meter (ideally a rolling-road as well). This gives better economy and the engine will live longer if not too lean (melted pistons etc.) or too rich (oil diluted with fuel).

I wonder if your petrol is as expensive as ours?
