Cool, when its time to swap I'll go for 16" rims and 195/55

After doing some math on a calculator the ?/55/? is approx 2 inches so in total i currently have about 17 inches of wheel in my arch, I can fit about one more inch in the front with the 35mm drop but still probably 2 inches in the back.

I might get fatter wheels, maybe 205/55 R16s

If I get 17s not only will I slow myself down I'd have to spend a fortune on Tyres cause they would need to be really low profile.

thought i'd add to this thread rather than create a new one.

right i don't want to sound stupid, but how do you fit alloys onto a tipo. i understand locking wheelnuts and stuff but i'm sure the bit the wheels go onto have two spikes which go through the steel wheel to hold it in place? hopefully i'll be getting some tipo/tempra alloys if that helps. but do i need to change the bits with spikes on or do i have to do something else?

the spikes you can take off all together!! if you are a bit of a hand man you can countersink the holes and replace the spiked bolts with new countersunk ones, vauxhall one fit...

with fitting tempra alloys you probably wont have to modify or take anything off, should be a straight swop....

I chopped 2 of the tight coils off my eibachs to get it like this

I'll sell those and all the koni stuff soon for much cheapness, by the time I race it should be lower still and hell of a lot stiffer.

They're fitted, but the arms must be different to the alfa's as its still too high, no problem I can use shorter springs, just need the droop adjusted on the damper, which madeno will do for me.

As for the visor in an enclosed car you dont need a visor, so it can be up down or not there at all, open tops and single seaters require it.
