well there I was removing the Bosch Jetronic injection system ( everything was working well,but the car consumed a minimum of 12.5 L of fuel every 60 miles...:bang: and the mixture was too rich... ) and fitting a Weber double 34,when i overtightened a nut holdin the exhaust manifold and broke the thread a few mm in the head...so this was an excuse to get the engine out
It's a 1992 1.6 8v SOHC 57kW engine,130 000 km on the counter so far,my parents are the first owners...

here's some pictures...most of the gaskets were dripping...and dripping...so now I have a nice layer of oil and dust all over the engine...cleaning time!

work is under way...now I have to disconnect the drive shafts and get the gearbox and engine block out of the engine bay...
