Technical Puddles in the Passenger Footwell

Hey guys


I've noticed something weird with my Tipo, I'm not sure if its when it rains or when I keep the Heat knob on Hot but sometimes when I enter the car in the morning... or after I haven't used it in a day or two there is a puddle on the floor...

Any idea where this water could be coming from???

Its not the sunroof cause the seats are dry and the puddle is dead centre on the mat each time.

check the drain holes at the scuttle[under windscreen] by the rear of the inner wing/bulkhead. might be blocked with leaves etc. you might have a leak on a heater pipe or the heater matrix. have you had the door panel off recently? might be leaking in hear. the weather protector plastic might not be sitting right so its not making a seal on the inner door. spread a line of talc from seat belt anchorage right the way round to the pedals. any leak will break the line. check the transmission tunnel and back of radio for dampness also.
